Resume

Current UX Designer at Simantel

My Process

High level approach I take to any new project. View all skills and methodologies I use to arrive at a comprehensive solution based in user research, design, and business insights.

Define & Discover

I aim to orient myself with the business goals of the project and set deliverable expectations. I research problems and successes of current software and develop an approach to tackle the problem.

Ideate

I approach the problem with pain points identified and constraints understood. With the problem identified, I like to work backwards from the solution. I find that having a goal/metric in mind before designing helps the most with iteration and testing.

Test & Validate

Now comes the humbling part. You test all your best ideas to see what sticks. Nothing will be perfect, so figuring out what works, what doesn't, and why... is the most important part in creating a wholistic design.

Development & Launch

The goal here is to bring the design architecture to life with the end product's quality in mind. Having a sense of tech stack and developer capabilities is crucial is making sure all aspects of the end-state design (i.e. interaction and flow) make it through to launch.
